Anniversary relationship cake
Description
Serve this anniversary cake at a festive table, as a dessert with tea or coffee. Your guests will be pleasantly surprised by its rich chocolate flavor and delicate texture. You can add any food coloring (for example, pink) to the sour cream frosting to make this dessert even more beautiful. The filling can include pieces of fresh and canned fruits, grated chocolate, or nuts.
Instructions

Step 1

1. Prepare biscuit dough in the usual way using flour, eggs, cocoa powder, sugar, and baking powder. Pour the dough into prepared pans.
- 2
Step 2

2. Preheat the oven to 180-190 °C beforehand. Bake for 25-35 minutes, then check the doneness of the sponge cake using a toothpick. If necessary, continue baking for a little longer until the batter is fully cooked through. Leave the baked chocolate layers to cool completely in the pan.

Step 3

3. While the cake layers are baking, prepare the sour cream frosting. To do this, mix the sour cream with powdered sugar and beat until smooth.

Step 4

4. Remove the cooled biscuit layers from the pans. Spread sour cream frosting between them, stacking one on top of the other. Generously cover the top and sides of the cake with frosting as well.

Step 5

5. Decorate the cake as desired. I covered the sides with chocolate crumbs and created a design on the surface using melted chocolate. Refrigerate the finished anniversary cake for 1-2 hours to let it chill thoroughly.
