Classic Cake
Description
Homemade baked goods for tea. Recently I remembered. Serve cooled or slightly warm.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

First, prepare the shortcrust dough. Add melted butter, sugar, baking soda, salt, milk, and eggs to a bowl. Beat the mixture with a whisk.
- 2
Step 2

Sift the flour separately. Then add it to the main mixture in portions.
- 3
Step 3

Knead the shortcrust dough (about 10 minutes). Then divide it into 6 parts and place in the freezer for 1.5–2 hours.
- 4
Step 4

After that, preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Grate each piece of dough on a coarse grater directly onto the hot baking sheet.
- 5
Step 5

Bake the items for 8 minutes. The resulting cookies can be broken into pieces once more, then cooled.
- 6
Step 6

Mix the cookies with soft butter and condensed milk.
- 7
Step 7

Place the sweet mixture on a serving plate in the shape of an "ant hill." It's best to do this by lining a deep container (or another mold) with plastic wrap, placing the cookies inside, and then carefully inverting the entire structure.
- 8
Step 8

Put the cake in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours.
