Cake
Description
Homemade baked goods for tea. Traditionally, such cakes can be made with any cake layers and cream you prefer. A sponge cake base with a cottage cheese filling works perfectly, for example, but feel free to experiment to your taste. Decorating the cake is a creative process—there's no right or wrong here. Use the original picture as a guide and try to replicate all the elements on your cake as closely as possible. I'll show you one of the possible options. Serve cooled or slightly warm.
Instructions

Step 1

1. First, you need to bake the cake layers. Cut rectangles out of them and spread cream between the layers. Use the last cake layer to make the top of the car.
- 2
Step 2

2. This is the base you'll get.
- 3
Step 3

3. The next step is the wheels. Carefully cut out circles with a knife or a glass, for example.
- 4
Step 4

4. Mix the oil-based cream for fondant with biscuit crumbs to create a pliable modeling mass. Shape it into a spoiler.
- 5
Step 5

5. Be sure to create rounded contours on the hood.
- 6
Step 6

6. The final stage of preparing the base is covering the entire cake with fondant buttercream. Smooth out all areas carefully so the fondant lies flat. Place the cake in the refrigerator for a couple of hours.

Step 7

7. While the cake is setting, you can prepare the wheels. It's most convenient to use cookies as the base, but you can also use sponge cake. Make disks from a circle of fondant, and paint the "tires" with black food coloring. Let the wheels dry thoroughly.

Step 8

8. The base, of course, will be red marzipan. Roll it out thinly and cover the cake. Smooth it out and trim the excess edges.
- 9
Step 9

9. Make windows from white marzipan. Attach the wheels. After that, it's up to your imagination. Add decorative elements and a birthday greeting, for example.
