Cake
Description
Homemade baking for tea. We’ll make the chocolate base from eggs, flour, sugar, and good cocoa powder. For the filling, choose a good cream cheese and high-quality condensed milk. If you like, you can add chopped nuts to the cake layers—or any dried fruit, or even fresh fruit or berries. The cake comes out slightly moist, well-soaked, and incredibly tasty. Serve it cooled or lightly warm.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the ingredients for the base — flour, sugar, eggs, cocoa.
- 2
Step 2

Separate the yolks from the whites.
- 3
Step 3

Beat the egg whites for 4 minutes, then gradually add all the sugar in portions and whip for another 3–4 minutes. Afterward, add the egg yolks one at a time and beat until smooth.
- 4
Step 4

Sift the flour and cocoa into the liquid base in batches, then mix the batter with a spatula.
- 5
Step 5

At the very end, add slaked baking soda to the batter. Pour the batter into an oiled baking pan. Place the pan in an oven preheated to 180 degrees.
- 6
Step 6

Bake the base for 35 minutes; check doneness with a toothpick.
- 7
Step 7

Prepare the ingredients for the cream.
- 8
Step 8

In a blender, combine cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk until you have a smooth, creamy mixture. If it is too thick, you can add a little cream.
- 9
Step 9

Cut the base of our cake into three parts.
- 10
Step 10

Generously coat each piece with cream.
- 11
Step 11

Assemble the cake this way. Spread the edges of the cake with cream as well, and sprinkle everything with coconut. Let the cake rest for 6–7 hours.
- 12
Step 12

Decorate the cake as you like and serve at the table.
- 13
Step 13

The "Mirage" cake is ready.
- 14
Step 14

Remove from the oven and serve warm or at room temperature.
