And if guests are almost at the door, and you haven't managed to prepare anything for them, I'll gladly show you how to quickly make a "Minute" cake in the oven. You'll need no more than half an hour and a minimal number of ingredients. By the way, you can use any cream you like—here I suggest the quickest option: a mixture of sour cream and sugar. Believe me, if you make this "Minute" cake quickly in the oven at home and serve it to your guests, no one will ever guess that you prepared such a delicious treat in just a matter of minutes. The baking is ready. Serve it at the table.

Mix a cup of sugar and sour cream, add eggs, and beat the mixture until foam forms.

Sift the flour and mix it with baking soda, then add the flour to the sour cream mixture and knead until you get a smooth, uniform dough.

Transfer the prepared dough carefully into a baking pan and place it in a preheated oven at 200-250 degrees. After 10-15 minutes, check if the cake layer is ready by inserting a wooden pick. If the pick comes out dry, remove the pan from the oven and let the layer cool slightly.

Cut the cake into several layers and spread each one with sour cream whipped with sugar. If you have time, you can also prepare a cream from condensed milk, butter, and cocoa, and use it to decorate the cake. If you're short on time, simply spread the cake with sour cream frosting and sprinkle with grated chocolate or nuts, whatever you have at home. Enjoy your meal!
