Cake
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Its distinctive feature is using vegetable oil instead of butter. I chose the simplest sour cream-based cream. If you want softer, melt-in-your-mouth pastries, let them rest. Serve cooled or slightly warm.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Beat the eggs with the sugar for the batter until foamy.
- 2
Step 2

Add honey, baking soda, and oil to the egg mixture. Stir the ingredients. Place them over a double boiler for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
- 3
Step 3

Add a cup of flour to this mixture. Mix well.
- 4
Step 4

Place the future dough back on the water bath for 5 minutes. Constantly stir the mixture.
- 5
Step 5

Then add the remaining flour. Knead a soft dough.
- 6
Step 6

Roll out the dough into 8-10 equal round layers.
- 7
Step 7

Bake the layers in the oven at 200 degrees for 10-15 minutes. Crush the excess dough into crumbs.
- 8
Step 8

For the cream, beat the sour cream with sugar.
- 9
Step 9

Place the cake layers on top of each other, spreading each with sour cream frosting.
- 10
Step 10

Sprinkle the finished honey cake with crumbs and grated chocolate. Leave it in the refrigerator before serving.
