Description

Perfectly pairs with tea and coffee. Let's agree — it's delightful to prepare a delicious and beautiful cake yourself for your beloved child's celebration. Yes, this cake requires some effort, but how much joy it will bring to your child — and to you as well! I suggest you a recipe for the "Masha and the Bear" cake. Of course, preparing it takes time, but a homemade cake is always tastier than a store-bought one, even if it's not as pretty as a shop-bought cake. So, let's get started. 1. Separate egg whites from yolks. Beat the whites with salt using a mixer until fluffy foam forms. Without stopping, gradually add sugar one tablespoon at a time, then lemon zest, egg yolks, and finally flour. 2. Pour the batter into a greased baking pan and bake at 200°C (392°F) until fully cooked. 3. Prepare the cream. Beat softened butter, then add powdered sugar, salt, and vanilla sugar. Continue beating until you get a smooth, firm mixture. Gradually add milk, one tablespoon at a time, until you achieve the desired cream consistency. Beat for about 5 minutes. 4. Cut the cooled sponge cake into layers. Soak each layer with juice or jam syrup. Spread cream on a layer and place prepared, sliced berries on top. Place the next cake layer on top, spread with cream, add berries. Repeat until all layers are stacked. Cover the top and sides of the cake with cream. You may sprinkle the sides with grated chocolate or cookie crumbs, according to your taste. 5. Divide the decorating cream into as many portions as you need colors for your cake. Add food coloring to each portion accordingly. 6. To draw the desired image on the cake, I recommend first drawing it on a sheet of paper the same size as your cake. This will make it easier to transfer the design onto the cake. 7. Use a toothpick to lightly sketch the outline of the drawing directly on the cake. Then, use a pastry syringe to pipe the colored cream over the lines. Place the cake in the refrigerator for 5–6 hours to set. And that's it — the cake is ready! Enjoy your celebration. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.
