Cake
Description
Perfect for tea and coffee. Since the cookies are store-bought, meaning ready-made, all that's left is to prepare a delicious custard cream, assemble the cake, and let it chill for at least 2–3 hours. From experience, I can say it tastes even better the next day, but it rarely lasts that long! Good luck. The dessert is ready. Serve it at the table.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the ingredients, let's get started!
- 2
Step 2

In a deep container, whisk together the eggs and sugar. Gradually add the flour in parts, then pour in a glass of milk.
- 3
Step 3

Add the vanilla sugar, the egg-flour mixture should be lump-free, smooth, and homogeneous.
- 4
Step 4

Bring the remaining 800 ml of milk to a boil.
- 5
Step 5

Pour the egg-flour mixture into the hot milk in a thin stream, constantly whisking. Bring the mixture to a boil. You will immediately feel the cream beginning to thicken; keep stirring constantly, otherwise it will burn or form lumps. Cook for one minute, then remove from heat. Let the cream cool slightly.
- 6
Step 6

Take a large dish for the cake. Place the cookies as tightly together as possible. Generously spread them with cream.
- 7
Step 7

Repeat the layers of cookies and cream until you almost run out of ingredients. Reserve some cookies and cream for decoration.
- 8
Step 8

Generously spread the cream on the top and sides of the cake. Crush some of the cookies in a mortar and sprinkle them all over the cake. Refrigerate overnight.
