Cake
Description
Homemade treats for tea. Making the "Keds" cake is not easy—you need to be a pastry chef, a sculptor, and an artist all at once. But the creative process is incredibly exciting and engaging. For my "Keds" cake, I used black, gray, and white fondant, but feel free to use your own taste and create any model you like! I recommend decorating the sneakers with icing as well. To make decorating the "Keds" cake easier, be sure to chill or even freeze the cake base in the refrigerator beforehand—it will make it much simpler to apply any designs. Best served cooled down or slightly warm. Good luck!
