Cake
Description
Delicious baked treat for the whole family. Bright, beautiful, and incredibly tasty—this is the "Captain America" cake. I make this dessert very often for my family, and my child has gotten used to treating his friends to it on his birthday.
Instructions

Step 1

1. I baked the cake layers myself to make them colorful—American style. I added bright blue food coloring to one portion of the sponge batter and red to the other. I poured them into two separate pans and baked in a preheated oven at 170 degrees until fully done.

Step 2

2. After baking, let the sponge cake cool slightly, and only then remove it from the pan. I use springform round pans, which I always line with parchment paper before baking and grease with vegetable oil.

Step 3

3. After that, I cut each cake layer in half and spread cream between them. You can use any cream you like with sponge cake. I've prepared it several times in different ways: sour cream (sour cream and sugar) and meringue cream. Both go perfectly with the cake layers.

Step 4

4. After spreading cream on all the cake layers, level it evenly across the surface. I do this with a metal spatula.

Step 5

5. Now we proceed to the decoration: fill a piping bag with frosting, adding red food coloring to one part and blue to the other. Now create lines around the circle.

Step 6

6. Take a toothpick and draw lines from the center to the edges. This creates a spiderweb pattern. That's it, now put our cake in the refrigerator for 7-8 hours.
