Condensed milk puff pastry cake
Description
Perfectly pairs with tea and coffee. This cake is very popular in my family. To be honest, I don't even remember where I got this interesting recipe. The baked good is ready. Serve it at the table.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the ingredients for the cake. Take the dough out of the packaging and thaw at room temperature.
- 2
Step 2

Divide the dough into 4-5 parts. There's no need to roll it out; let the layers be not too thin. Be sure to prick the dough with a fork in several places to prevent excessive puffing. Transfer them to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or foil, and bake in the oven for 12 minutes at 220 degrees.
- 3
Step 3

Whip the sour cream with condensed milk until a smooth cream forms.
- 4
Step 4

Remove the pits from the cherries and cut the berries in half. However, you can also place them whole into the cake.
- 5
Step 5

Remove the finished layers from the baking sheet and let them cool. Place the second batch of layers to bake.
- 6
Step 6

Assemble the cake. Place the first layer and generously spread it with cream.
- 7
Step 7

Evenly distribute the cherries on top, but don't use too many—just the right amount.
- 8
Step 8

Continue this way until you've used up all the cake layers, cream, and cherries. Before frosting the entire cake, gently press it down with your hands to help the layers settle more tightly, but don't overdo it, otherwise you might squeeze out the cream. Then, spread the cream over the sides and top of the cake. Sprinkle with the crumbs left over from baking.
