Description

Perfect with tea and coffee. If you do not like moist cakes, you can reduce the soaking syrup or omit it entirely. Syrup from canned peaches, pineapples, or apricots is perfect for it. You can buy sweetened condensed milk at the store, but it tastes better if you boil it yourself. You can decorate such a cake not only with chocolate, but also with berries, nuts, or finely chopped soft toffees. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.
