Cake
Description
Making a "Hello Kitty" cake is not difficult, especially if you use ready-made ingredients: sponge cakes, cream, colored candy paste or icing. The baking is ready. Serve at the table.
Instructions

Step 1

1. First, prepare the dough base. You need to bake two sponge cakes. Separate the egg yolks from the egg whites, divide the sugar in half, and add it to the yolks and whites separately. Beat each mixture with a mixer. Then, combine both mixtures with a spoon in a large bowl. Sift the flour and mix it with the baking powder. While stirring the egg mixture with a spoon, gradually add the flour. Grease two baking pans, sprinkle with breadcrumbs, and pour in the batter. Bake the sponge cakes in a preheated oven at 180°C for 30 minutes. Check for doneness with a toothpick. Remove and let cool. From one of the cakes, cut out the shape of Hello Kitty's head.

Step 2

2. To make it easier to cut and decorate the cake, print a large-sized image of Hello Kitty's head (matching the size of your cake), place the image on the cake, and carefully cut around it with a sharp knife. You can use store-bought frosting or make your own. To prepare the frosting, beat the butter with a mixer, add powdered sugar, and continue beating. Then add salt and vanilla, pour in the cream, and beat thoroughly. Add more cream if needed. Color one-third of the frosting pink using food coloring.

Step 3

3. Spread a thin layer of cream on the base and decorate the edges of the kitten's head. Use a piping bag with an "open star" (or "closed star") tip for this.
- 4
Step 4

4. Cut a bow out of paper, place it to the side, and decorate the remaining surface of the head with creamy "stars" piped from a syringe.
- 5
Step 5

5. We use the third part of the pink cream for the bow and the second biscuit layer on which the head lies.

Step 6

6. By the way, you can make the color of the bow more intense. Melt the chocolate and use it to make small decorations—the bow, eyes, and whiskers. On parchment paper, draw the outline of the bow and carefully pour chocolate along the lines. Make a small circle and six whiskers. Let the chocolate harden. Instead of chocolate, you can use special confectionery glaze, which is easier to work with.

Step 7

7. Arrange all the pieces, paint the nose yellow, let it cool, and serve. The Hello Kitty cake is ready!
