
Fruit cake with blackcurrant
Description
Homemade baked goods for tea. A delicious and appetizing fruit cake. Knead the dough from flour, butter, and egg yolks. Place it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes, then spread it into a baking pan and bake in the oven for 25 minutes. Beat egg whites with sugar and vanilla. Divide the whipped whites in half. Add nuts to one half and currants to the other. On the baked base, first spread the whites with nuts, then the ones with berries. Return the cake to the oven for another 20 minutes. Then leave it in the oven until completely cooled. Before serving, decorate with fresh currants. The baked cake is ready. Serve at the table.

Mix the flour, egg yolks, and pieces of butter.

Knead the dough, refrigerate for half an hour, then roll it out and place it in a baking pan.

Arrange the dough so that edges are formed, and the dough itself takes the shape of a basket. Place a sheet of parchment paper on the dough and fill with peas to prevent the dough from losing its shape, then bake for 25 minutes at 200 degrees.
