Cake
Description
You can create a celebration for a little princess even without special baking skills. All you need is desire and a little persistence to make a "Fairies" cake at home. You can decorate it with any details you like, and adjust the cake itself to your taste.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

1. The cake base will use "Potato" – a simple-to-make dessert. To prepare it, mix crushed cookies, condensed milk, and butter. Thoroughly combine and knead by hand. Optionally, add a little cocoa powder. Shape the mixture into a base with a hollowed center.
- 2
Step 2

2. You can place fruits and berries here. The recipe for the "Fairies" cake suggests using bananas sprayed with lemon juice.
- 3
Step 3

3. You can also add apples, pears, and other fruits to taste.
- 4
Step 4

4. The magical fairies will live on a little mushroom. The base is already ready; all that's left is to make the cap. To do this, bake a sponge cake and let it cool completely. Then shape it into a hemisphere (you can use a glass salad bowl as a guide).
- 5
Step 5

5. Line the salad bowl itself with plastic wrap.
- 6
Step 6

6. Cut the top part off the sponge cake and place it on the bottom of the salad bowl. Also, cut off the bottom part and set it aside.
- 7
Step 7

7. Put the remaining biscuit and all the trimmings into a blender and blend together with the peaches and a small amount of syrup. Spread the resulting mixture on top and cover with the cake layer. Press firmly and refrigerate for 5–6 hours (or overnight).
- 8
Step 8

8. Once it has set properly, spread it with condensed milk beaten together with butter, and put it back in the refrigerator for a couple of hours.
- 9
Step 9

9. Meanwhile, you can prepare and roll out the fondant.
- 10
Step 10

10. Wrap the cap with it, smooth it out, and trim the excess, slightly tucking the edges underneath.
- 11
Step 11

11. Spread the base with condensed milk and butter as well.
- 12
Step 12

12. While it is chilling in the refrigerator, roll out a sheet of fondant for it.
- 13
Step 13

13. Wrap the leg and smooth it out to avoid wrinkles.
- 14
Step 14

14. Place the cap on top, and the first stage of work can be considered complete.
- 15
Step 15

15. Now you can proceed directly to the fairies. First, prepare the pieces according to the number of characters.
- 16
Step 16

16. Like this one—for handles.
- 17
Step 17

17. Combine.
- 18
Step 18

18. Separately shape the hair, which needs to be slightly tinted.
- 19
Step 19

19. Carefully glue in place. Braids can also be made.
- 20
Step 20

20. If your skill in molding with fondant is not yet sufficient for masterpieces, you can make simple preparations like these.
- 21
Step 21

21. They will become the calves of little fairies.
- 22
Step 22

22. It's best to make them colorful.
- 23
Step 23

23. It's impossible to imagine a fairy without wings. To begin, you need to make blanks from thin wire.
- 24
Step 24

24. Dissolve the gelatin and warm slightly. Add a little food coloring. Dip the piece and wait a bit until a thin film appears.
- 25
Step 25

25. If desired, wings can be additionally decorated with glitter.
- 26
Step 26

26. Leave them to dry by sticking them into an apple or gum paste, for example.
- 27
Step 27

27. The "Fairies" cake can be decorated with various elements at home.
- 28
Step 28

28. Even the simplest ones will harmoniously complement the cake.
- 29
Step 29

29. You can make all sorts of different parts.
- 30
Step 30

30. Carefully attach all of them to the cake with water.
- 31
Step 31

31. At the end, place the owners of the house.
