Description
Homemade baking for tea. A jam pastry can be not only simple but truly festive. This little cake is the best proof of that. For the base you can choose absolutely any jam you have on hand. Moreover, you can experiment with the cream. You can add condensed milk to the sour cream if you wish. Serve cooled or slightly warm.

Prepare the necessary ingredients.

Place the jam in a deep bowl and add the baking soda. Mix and let stand for 40–60 minutes.

Combine the kefir with the eggs. If the jam is not too sweet, add 50 grams of sugar.

Whisk until smooth and add a cup of flour. Mix.

Add jam.

Gradually add flour until the dough reaches the consistency of thick sour cream.

Grease the pan with butter, dust it with flour, and pour in the batter. Bake the cake in the oven at 180 °C for about 45 minutes. Check the cake's doneness with a dry skewer.

Let the crust cool and cut it into 2–3 layers.

To make the cream, whisk sour cream with sugar and butter.

Soak the layers with cream.
