The recipe won't take much time. Here is the classic recipe for Black Forest cake. Of course, the cake isn't prepared very quickly and will require some effort, but the final result is worth the work. Black Forest cake will be a wonderful addition to any festive table. Good luck! First, prepare all the necessary ingredients.

Place eggs and sugar into the bowl of a mixer. Set the bowl over a bain-marie.

Stirring, heat the mixture to 40 degrees. Remove the mixture from the water bath and beat vigorously until the volume triples.

Sift the flour with cocoa and baking soda, add to the mixture. Gently mix.

Mix part of the dough with the melted butter, then knead in the remaining dough.

Transfer the dough to a baking pan greased with vegetable oil, bake for 30 minutes at 180 degrees. Let the cake cool. Place the frozen cherries in a saucepan and sprinkle with sugar (50 g).

Boil the cherries over medium heat for about 5 minutes. Drain in a colander to let all the juice drip off. Melt half of the chocolate using a double boiler, then spread it in a thin layer over a large plate or tray. Place in the refrigerator to set.

Whip the cream with powdered sugar. Set aside 2/3 of the cream, add cocoa to it, and lightly whip.

Cut the cooled biscuit horizontally into three parts. Soak the first layer with syrup, place it on a plate, then add a layer of chocolate cream on top. Using a piping bag, pipe circles of cream, then arrange cherries on top.

Then we place two more layers, repeating all the steps. Spread cream over the top and sides of the cake. Take the plate with chocolate out of the refrigerator and use a knife to make chocolate shavings.

Decorate the top and sides of the cake with shavings. Using a piping bag, pipe 12 whipped cream rosettes around the top edge. Place a cocktail cherry on each rosette.
