Cake in a multicooker
Description
If you like “dry” cakes, you can skip the soaking syrup. Or use liqueur for soaking, or add cognac or flavoring to it. Don’t worry about vegetable oil being added to the glaze—it isn’t noticeable at all and gives it a beautiful gloss. The main thing is that it should be odorless.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the ingredients you need to make the “Sorceress” cake.
- 2
Step 2

In a bowl, crack the eggs, add sugar and salt. Whisk everything until light and fluffy.
- 3
Step 3

Combine the flour, baking powder, and vanillin. Sift everything through a fine sieve into the bowl with the egg mixture.
- 4
Step 4

Mix everything until the dough is smooth and homogeneous.
- 5
Step 5

Grease the multicooker bowl with vegetable oil and dust it with flour. Pour the batter into it and level the surface.
- 6
Step 6

Place the inner pot in the multicooker and bake on the “Bake” setting for one hour.
- 7
Step 7

After the signal sounds, let the sponge cake rest without opening for 10 minutes.
- 8
Step 8

Transfer the sponge cake to a wire rack and let it cool completely.
- 9
Step 9

For the cream, put the flour and sugar in a saucepan. Crack an egg into them.
- 10
Step 10

Mix everything until smooth and homogeneous.
- 11
Step 11

Pour in cold milk and mix thoroughly so there are no lumps.
- 12
Step 12

Place over low heat and, stirring, cook until thickened. Remove from the heat.
- 13
Step 13

Add softened butter to the hot cream.
- 14
Step 14

Whip everything until it forms a smooth, fluffy cream.
- 15
Step 15

Place the wrap in direct contact with the cream and let cool completely.
- 16
Step 16

Cut the sponge cake into two layers.
- 17
Step 17

For the soak, mix warm boiled water with sugar and stir until the sugar has dissolved. Soak both cake layers.
- 18
Step 18

Spread the cream on the bottom cake layer, reserving a little, and smooth it evenly.
- 19
Step 19

Place the top layer on top and press lightly. Coat the surface of the cake with the remaining cream in a thin layer.
- 20
Step 20

For the glaze, put broken chocolate in a bowl and add vegetable oil. Set over a double boiler and melt, stirring, until smooth. Pour over the cake and chill for several hours to let it absorb.
- 21
Step 21

Done. Serve at the table.
