Cake
Description
I'm sharing a recipe for making a "Bûche" cake! Of course, preparing it at home isn't that easy and it will definitely take a lot of time and effort. But as soon as you take a bite of the soft, delicious cake, you'll realize all your hard work paid off. And in my opinion, that's exactly why we cook. Serve it warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.

Step 1

1. Carefully separate the eggs into yolks and whites. Beat the yolks with sugar until a stable foam forms. You can add vanilla or cinnamon here. In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites with a pinch of citric acid or salt—this helps them whip better. Now gently add the flour to the yolks, mix, and then fold in the whipped egg whites.

Step 2

2. Divide this dough into two approximately equal parts and pour onto a baking sheet in the shape of round pancakes using a pastry bag. Bake for 15-20 minutes. Let cool.

Step 3

3. Meanwhile, let's prepare the cream. In a separate saucepan, keep butter at room temperature. In another, boil water with sugar (75 ml and 230 grams), then add condensed milk to this syrup and bring to a boil. Then mix this mixture with the butter and stir well. Spread this cream over one of the cooled sponge cakes.

Step 4

4. Place the remaining biscuit layer on top. Prepare the glaze: melt the chocolate and mix it with vegetable oil. While the glaze is still warm, pour it over the biscuit layers.

On top, I decorated the cake with the remaining cream. Very tasty and beautiful!
