Step 3

Use part of the fondant to make flower stems. Roll out the fondant on a board and use a cup to cut it into separate pieces.
- 4
Step 4

Roll out the circles with a rolling pin and shape them into stems. Gradually moisten the connecting areas with water.
- 5
Step 5

Wrap the stems until you get a little rose like this. Secure it with foil.
- 6
Step 6

Put the stems in the refrigerator for 24 hours. Start baking the sponge cake.

Step 7

Break the eggs into a bowl, add sugar. Beat everything until a white foam forms. In a separate bowl, mix the flour with baking powder and add it to the eggs. Mix until the batter becomes smooth. Transfer everything to a baking dish and bake in the oven at 180 degrees for 35 minutes. After cooking, the sponge cake should rest for 12 hours.

If there is condensed milk left in the jar, add it to taste, mix well. Shape the mixture.
- 14
Step 14

The cake is almost ready, all that's left is to prepare the glaze. To do this, melt the butter and sour cream over low heat.
- 15
Step 15

Add cocoa and sugar. Cook the glaze until the sugar dissolves completely.
- 16
Step 16

Spread the resulting mass over the cake.
- 17
Step 17

Cover part of the cake with fondant. You can use the leftover one or make a new one.
- 18
Step 18

Use toothpicks to attach the flower buds to the cake to create a bouquet. The cake is ready. You can make additional fondant with added cocoa and cover the cake with it as shown in the picture, but this is optional.
