No-bake cake
Description
Homemade baked treat for tea. Banana cake is a light fruity dessert made with a ready-made sponge cake, bananas, and fruit jelly. The cake is prepared using a refrigerator, so this sweet is perfect for an afternoon snack on a hot day. The cake turns out large enough to serve a big group. Serve it cooled or slightly warm.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1
Place the butter in a saucepan, pour in 125 milliliters of water, and heat thoroughly, then remove the saucepan from the heat. Add vanilla, 2 packages of light jelly, and stir until completely dissolved.
- 2
Step 2
In a separate bowl, mash 5 bananas with a fork and pour lemon juice over them. Add the resulting puree to the jelly mixture and mix well.
- 3
Step 3
Dissolve the dark jelly in half of the amount of water specified on the package, usually 200 milliliters, but check the instructions.
- 4
Step 4
For the syrup: dissolve one teaspoon of sugar and lemon juice in 60 milliliters of water.
- 5
Step 5
Place the ready biscuit into the baking pan and pour the prepared syrup over it. Spread a couple of tablespoons of banana mixture on top, smooth it out, and refrigerate for 20 minutes to let the mixture set.
- 6
Step 6
Take the cake base out of the refrigerator, spread the remaining banana mixture on top, and put it back into the refrigerator.
- 7
Step 7
Slice the remaining banana into rounds, take out the cake, arrange the banana slices on top, pour the dark jelly over, and refrigerate for several hours.
- 8
Step 8
After the required time has passed, you can take out the cake; the jelly layer on top has already set well.
