Cake
Description
The recipe won't take much time. I don't know about you, but personally, I love making these "homemade-style" recipes, including this simple "Amursky" cake. All the ingredients are easily available, and the recipe requires no special effort at all. Yet, how delicious this "Amursky" cake turns out to be at home—and how delighted everyone will be... Words can't describe it.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

1. Thaw the berries and drain off the juice (we'll set the juice aside separately). The portion of berries intended for decoration should be immediately soaked in wine or champagne.
- 2
Step 2

2. Prepare the cream. Crush the halva or grind it in a blender into fine crumbs. Add cream and condensed milk.
- 3
Step 3

3. Place this mixture in the microwave for 5 minutes, take it out, stir until the halva becomes smooth, then put it back in the microwave for another 5 minutes. Repeat this process until the cream becomes completely smooth. Cover the cream with plastic wrap and set aside.

Step 4

4. Beat the eggs with sugar for 5 minutes, then add cocoa, yogurt, and baking powder. Gradually add flour, stirring continuously.
- 5
Step 5

5. Dilute the vanilla in wine or champagne to prevent it from becoming bitter. Once fully dissolved, add it to the dough.
- 6
Step 6

6. After adding vanilla, mix in the well-drained and dried cherries. Bake for 30–40 minutes at 180°C. Let cool and cut the sponge cake into cubes.
- 7
Step 7

7. Remove the film from the cream, add sour cream, mix - ready!
- 8
Step 8

8. Generously spread the cream on all the sponge cake cubes and stack them on top of each other. Decorate with cherries and pour the glaze over the top (mix cocoa, cream, and a little of the wine in which the cherries were soaked, heat in the microwave for one to two minutes, then pour over the cake).
