Description

Homemade baked goods for tea. The cake "African Daisy" got its interesting name thanks to its incredibly beautiful chocolate color. Its main advantage is that you can use absolutely any filling—berry, fruit, or even candied fruits and dried fruits. Give it a try, you'll definitely like it. The baked goods are ready. Serve at the table.

    1. First, prepare the base—the cake layer. Crack the eggs into a deep bowl and add 200 grams of sugar (you can adjust this amount to taste). Gently mix everything with a fork, being careful not to overbeat the eggs.

    6. Grease the baking pan lightly with vegetable oil and pour in half of the batter. Bake until done in a preheated oven. Then bake the second part of the batter. Let both cake layers cool completely.

    7. Meanwhile, prepare the filling. Soak the gelatin in warm water until dissolved. Add it to the sour cream, sprinkle in about 200 grams of sugar, and mix thoroughly. Cut the cooled cake layers in half. Set aside two even pieces, and break the remaining pieces into small chunks. Add them to the sour cream cream and mix. Cut the fruit into small pieces and combine with the filling.

    Step 8

    8. Place one crust onto a serving plate. Spread the filling evenly over it. Cut the second crust into petal shapes, leaving a small circle in the center. Place this on top of the cake to form a daisy shape. The "African Daisy" cake recipe is now complete. All that's left is to wait an hour or two for the filling to set and the crusts to absorb the flavors.
