Minecraft Cake
Description
If you have ever tried playing Minecraft, this cake is sure to catch your eye at the very least :) In terms of taste, the Minecraft cake is quite ordinary (meaning tasty, but nothing special); however, the presentation can really delight any gamer who loves this game. Best of all, the simple Minecraft cake recipe is so easy that even those same gamers who, as a rule, are much stronger at computer games than in the kitchen can pull it off. Good luck with baking! ;) Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

In a large bowl, mix 500 grams of butter and sugar. Beat with a mixer until smooth and creamy.
- 2
Step 2

Add flour, baking powder, cocoa powder, and eggs. Beat with a mixer until smooth.
- 3
Step 3

After whipping, the homogeneous mixture should look approximately like this.
- 4
Step 4

Line the baking sheet with parchment paper and carefully transfer half of the batter into it. Bake the sponge for 30 minutes at 180°C. In the same way, bake the second sponge from the remaining half of the batter.
- 5
Step 5

Meanwhile, beat the powdered sugar with 200 g butter until smooth and creamy. Stir a little green food coloring into the mixture.
- 6
Step 6

Beat on low speed until the mixture turns green.
- 7
Step 7

To mimic the grass texture from the game Minecraft, we also add a little food coloring to the coconut flakes. Mix.
- 8
Step 8

When the finished sponge cakes have cooled to room temperature, you can assemble the cake. Spread the green cream on the sponge cake in a thick layer.
- 9
Step 9

Place the second sponge layer on the first, spread it with the second half of the green cream, and coat with green coconut flakes. For a realistic touch, cut the cake into cubes, like in the game Minecraft.

Step 10

From cake cubes, we create a composition like in the game Minecraft. Voila!
