Dome Cake
Description
The dessert is simple and quick to prepare. Grate one chocolate bar on a coarse grater, and melt the other one with 100 ml of cream over a water bath or in the microwave. Add vanilla and nuts to the cottage cheese. Whip the remaining cream with powdered sugar and mix it into the cottage cheese. Divide the resulting cottage cheese mixture into two parts. Mix the grated chocolate into one part, and the melted chocolate into the other. Line the inside of a bowl with plastic wrap. Cut the sponge cake into strips, setting aside one-third, and use the rest to line the bottom and sides of the bowl. Fill the bottom of the bowl with the light-colored cream, then top with the dark chocolate mixture, and cover the entire cake with the reserved sponge strips. Place the cake in the freezer overnight. Before serving, turn the bowl upside down onto a serving plate, remove the plastic wrap, and dust the top with powdered sugar and cocoa powder. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.
