
Tori takhan with chicken
Description
The recipe won't take much time. The dish's name reflects its ingredients. Simply put, it's fried long-grain rice with chicken. Other variations of this dish exist as well, for example, with vegetables or seafood. In Japan, this dish is prepared in restaurants and cafes, and sometimes can even be found among fast food options—it's one of the most popular dishes. The result is delicious, filling, and healthy. 1. First, rinse the rice, then boil it in slightly salted water until half-cooked. Drain in a colander to remove excess liquid, and rinse under hot water.

2. Wash the fillet and cut it into small cubes. Wash the zucchini and pepper and also cut them into small pieces. Place a frying pan over the heat, pour sunflower oil into it. First fry the chicken, then add the vegetables. Fry everything together for about 10 minutes over low heat.

3. Place another frying pan (preferably a wok) over heat, pour sunflower oil into it, transfer the rice onto the hot surface and fry for about 5 minutes. Add the fried meat with vegetables, sugar, season with pepper to taste, pour in soy sauce, water, and apple cider vinegar.

4. Reduce the heat to minimum and simmer until the liquid thickens. Then let it cool slightly and serve the dish with sesame seeds.
