These cookies turn out wonderfully fragrant and crumbly, delighting children and making a perfect treat to bring to school for a holiday. Serve them warm or chilled. Ideal with tea.

1. Cream the soft butter with regular and vanilla sugar.

5. Knead the dough until it becomes soft. Place it in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.

6. Shape the dough into small balls, slightly smaller than a walnut in size.

7. Place the dough balls onto parchment paper, spacing them apart, and gently press them down.

8. We bake thin cookies, so we cover the dough pieces with plastic wrap and roll them out with a rolling pin. My cookies turned out to be about 5 cm in diameter.

9. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for about 12-15 minutes. The cookies should be light and crumbly. However, since I needed them for my child's school, I left them in the oven a bit longer, about 20 minutes. This makes them drier and less prone to crumbling.

10. Melt the chocolate in milk over a water bath, stirring thoroughly!!
