Thin pizza base
Description
When making pizza, it's important to maintain a balance between the dough and the toppings, as this affects both its taste and appearance. I usually make thin-crust pizza so that the dough doesn't overpower the flavor of the main ingredients, especially since it also cooks faster.
Instructions

Step 1

1. Warm the water, then add granulated sugar and yeast, mix and let stand for 5 minutes until foam forms.
- 2
Step 2

2. Sift 1 cup of wheat flour into a bowl, add salt and mix.
- 3
Step 3

3. Pour the liquid ingredients into the bowl with the flour, then mix.
- 4
Step 4

4. Gradually add the remaining flour and knead the dough.

Step 5

5. The result is a soft and elastic pizza dough. I leave it to rest for at least 5 minutes, but preferably for 30.
- 6
Step 6

6. Divide the dough into 2 equal parts, roll each into a ball and flatten into a disc (if storing, wrap in plastic wrap and place in the freezer).
- 7
Step 7

7. Roll out the dough very thinly with a rolling pin, approximately 2-3 millimeters.
- 8
Step 8

8. Place the sauce and filling on the dough, then bake in a preheated oven and serve hot. The pizza turns out thin and crispy.
