Tomatoes with mozzarella
Description
A delicious appetizer for any gathering. Tomatoes with mozzarella—a beautiful, tasty snack that shines in summer, when you want something light, flavorful, and meat-free. Basil leaves, tomatoes, and mozzarella are a classic trio that sounds unbeatable! This simple tomatoes-with-mozzarella recipe isn’t fussy; you won’t need many ingredients to make it. You can also swap the pesto and nuts for something else. For example, pine nuts work well replaced with cashews or walnuts (also very tasty). As for pesto sauce, I sometimes use wasabi paste instead—the appetizer gets a kick, and I love that :) In short, feel free to experiment. Serve with greens and sauce.
