Tomato sauce with pepper in a multicooker

Description

Minimal ingredients — excellent result. Thanks to a generous amount of spices, the tomato sauce turns out flavorful and aromatic. The heat comes from ground chili pepper. Instead, you can use fresh pepper. In that case, it's better to simmer it together with the vegetables. Serve chilled or at room temperature.

    Wash the tomatoes and cut them into quarters. Wash the pepper as well, remove the seeds, and cut into pieces. Peel the onion and cut into large pieces.

    Place the prepared vegetables into the multicooker bowl and set it to the "Stewing" mode. Cook the vegetables for 2 hours. Then drain the liquid that has accumulated.

    Place the vegetables in a sieve and mash them through it. Alternatively, you can use a blender. Put the mashed vegetables into the multicooker bowl, and add vinegar, sugar, salt, cloves, cinnamon, coriander, black pepper, and chili pepper.

    Set the multicooker to the "Stewing" mode and cook the dish for another 40 minutes to achieve the desired consistency. Pour the finished sauce into sterilized jars and seal with lids.
