Tomato sauce for meatballs

15 min4 serv.20 февр. 2026 г.

Description

Perfectly complements meat, poultry, and side dishes. Many are used to preparing tomato sauce from tomato paste. However, it turns out much tastier when made with passata—a thick tomato sauce, sometimes even containing small pieces of tomatoes. If you don't like spicy food, simply omit the chili pepper. By the way, you can use tomato juice instead of passata. In that case, take about 400 grams and cook until thickened. The sauce is ready. Store it in the refrigerator and serve with dishes.
