Prepare all the ingredients.

Wash the tomatoes, dry them, and slice them.

Grind the tomatoes through a meat grinder or in a blender.

Pour the resulting tomato mixture into a saucepan. Add salt. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Simmer for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Strain the tomato juice through a sieve to remove the skin and peel.
