1. First, wash the plums, carefully remove the pits, and place them in a saucepan. Add water and put on the heat. Simmer for about 15 minutes after boiling, stirring constantly. Combine the spices and squeeze fresh pomegranate juice.

2. Remove the plums from the heat and strain them through a sieve. Pour the resulting juice into a clean saucepan. Add minced garlic, chili pepper, and spices.

3. Simmer the sauce for another 5 minutes, stirring. Remove from heat and let cool.
