
Tyrolean pie
Description
In the filling of this delicious pie you can use not only berries, but also combine them with fruits: peaches or apricots. Now I’ll tell you how I love to make a Tyrolean pie, and you can adjust the filling to your taste. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.

1 Preheat the oven to 180 °C. Beat softened butter, sour cream, sugar, nutmeg and vanilla with a mixer for 5 minutes. While continuing to beat, add the eggs one at a time.

2 Sift the flour with the leavening agent and mix to avoid lumps.

3 Grease a silicone mold (diameter 24 cm) with vegetable oil and carefully pour in the batter. Place the apricot halves (250 g) into the batter, bake in a preheated oven for 30 minutes.

4 Cool the pie in the pan.

5 Beat the remaining apricot with a blender and add gelatin to it. Let it sit for 5 minutes for the gelatin to swell. Then bring the mixture to a boil, but do not boil. Cool slightly, set aside 2 tbsp of jelly, and pour the rest over the top of the cake. Place it to set in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.

6 Then place the sweet cherries and sour cherries on top, drizzle with the set apricot jelly, and refrigerate for another 40 minutes.
