
Tiramisu with cream and mascarpone
Description
This dessert is a favorite of many—and for good reason, as its incredibly delicate flavor is sure to win everyone over. We'll soak the savoiardi in strong coffee with rum. By the way, you can make savoiardi at home; it will be much more delicious that way.

First, brew a strong coffee and let it cool. Once cooled, add rum or brandy, mixing thoroughly. In a separate container, rub the egg yolks with sugar and beat the mixture over a water bath. Continue beating until the mixture becomes light and thick.

Mascarpone cheese should be thoroughly mashed with a fork and combined with egg yolks, mixing well until smooth. Whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and add it to the cheese and yolks. Gently mix to avoid disrupting the airy texture.

Place the cream into a mold, about 2 centimeters thick. On top, arrange savoiardi biscuits that have been previously soaked in cold coffee with rum. Put the tiramisu into the refrigerator and chill for 4–5 hours until ready. Before serving, dust the dessert with cocoa powder and serve chilled.
