Parmesan-Crusted Tilapia
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. There are countless recipes for cooking tilapia, but it tastes best when baked in the oven. Today I want to share with you a recipe. The finished dish can be served at the table.
Instructions

Step 1

Prepare all the necessary ingredients. You can use tilapia fillet either frozen or chilled.

Step 2

When I prepared this dish this time, I didn't thaw the fish but placed it directly into the baking dish while still frozen, then put it into the oven preheated to 180 degrees. After 5-7 minutes, I took the dish out, drained the water, seasoned the fish with salt to taste, and returned it to the oven. If you're using thawed tilapia, simply season it right away and bake for 15-20 minutes.

Step 3

Meanwhile, prepare the aromatic batter for the fish. Mix softened butter with mayonnaise, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and Provence herbs, and grate Parmesan cheese on a fine grater.
- 4
Step 4

Mix the resulting mass thoroughly until smooth.

Step 5

10-12 minutes before the tilapia is done, brush the fish with the batter and return it to the oven. The batter will melt under the heat, penetrating the fish and coating it on the outside.

Step 6

Serve battered tilapia with Parmesan alongside cornmeal porridge and vegetables.
