
Dough for buns with kefir
Description
Homemade pastries for tea. If you want to make fluffy and delicious buns, I recommend preparing the dough using this recipe. You'll need medium-fat kefir, or even better, use sour milk. This recipe yields about 18 buns on average. Be sure to make a starter. Serve cooled or slightly warm.

1. This recipe yields 17-18 medium-sized buns. They are fried in oil and can be filled with any filling of your choice. First, gently warm the kefir and add yeast to it.

2. Add some sugar and a couple of tablespoons of flour to the same mixture. Stir everything with a whisk until smooth and wait for the starter to rise slightly.

3. Add salt and vegetable oil, as well as the remaining sugar, and mix everything again.

4. At the very end, add the flour and knead the dough. It should be soft and not stick to your hands.

5. Place in a warm bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Let the dough rest for 20 minutes.
