Delicious baked treat for the whole family. The cake layers bake very quickly—just 5-7 minutes at 180 degrees. The dough is also prepared quite fast. The most important thing is to thoroughly soak the layers with cream, so the dough becomes tender and the cake melts in your mouth. Enjoy your baking!

Step 1
We mix and beat the eggs with granulated sugar. Then we add honey and butter to the mixture. Place the container with the mixture over low heat and bring to a boil.

Take a large bowl and pour the hot mixture into it. Add the mixture of baking soda, salt, and citric acid to the bowl and stir. Then begin incorporating the flour and knead until you get an elastic dough. Divide the dough into the desired number of portions (layers).

Now roll out the dough to a thickness of about 0.5 cm. You can shape the layers after baking by trimming them with a knife. Or you can cut out round layers immediately, for example, using a springform pan.
