Perfectly pairs with tea and coffee. This famous dish from Kazakh cuisine has won the hearts of many home cooks. In fact, there's nothing easier than making dough for bauyrsaks at home. The result is very fluffy pastries that are hard to resist. The baked goods are ready. Serve them at the table.

    1. This recipe for baursaki dough is designed for a bread machine, but you can manage without one. First, sift the flour.

    3. Add salt and sugar. The amount of the latter can be slightly increased if desired, if the baursaki are to be served as a dessert.

    5. Pour in the milk. You can also prepare dough for baursaki at home using kefir or whey, for example.

    6. Now it's time to trust the process. After kneading, leave the dough to rise for about 1.5–2 hours. Without a bread machine, this process isn't very complicated either: after mixing all the ingredients, cover the dough with a clean towel and let it rise in a warm place.

    7. Next, roll a small portion of the dough into a "sausage" and cut it into pieces. Shape them into balls and fry in vegetable oil.
