Mayonnaise pie dough
Description
Delicious baked treat for the whole family. To make mayonnaise-based dough for a pie, you can use any mayonnaise, but the richer the better. You can prepare the pie not only with apples but also with nuts or berries. Tip: when baking, do not open the oven to prevent the pie from collapsing. It's also better to let the pie cool down inside the closed oven (for about 5–10 minutes) before removing it. Cut the mayonnaise-based dough pie when it has cooled completely. The baked good is ready. Serve at the table.
Instructions

Step 1
Prepare the filling: peel the apples and cut them into cubes (can be cut irregularly). Then prepare the dough: mix four egg yolks with half a cup of sugar and one third cup of mayonnaise.

Step 2
The amount of sugar depends on the tartness of the apples: if the apples are very sour, add more sugar. After mixing everything well, add flour until the batter reaches a sour cream-like consistency. I always add it by eye, usually about one cup, maybe a bit more.

Step 3
Beat the remaining four egg whites with four tablespoons of cold water. Whip them into a foam, then gently add to the batter. It is best to add them gradually so the egg whites do not deflate and mix well with the batter.

Step 4
Preheat the oven to 180-200 degrees. Place the apples in a baking dish and pour the batter over them (the batter should be slightly runny, which is normal, don't worry). Bake for 20 minutes.

Step 5
The finished cake made with mayonnaise-based dough resembles a Charlotte; I recommend sprinkling it with powdered sugar before serving.
