Dough for pampushki
Description
Homemade baked treats for tea. These buns bake very quickly—just 10-15 minutes at 220 degrees. They must be placed into a preheated oven, and to ensure they brown nicely, brush them with lightly beaten egg. If you're preparing a version for borscht, you can make garlic-flavored buns. For a more universal option, add nothing extra—simply serve the buns with your favorite dish or with jam for tea.
Instructions

Step 1

Rub the yeast with sugar and salt. Pour in the warm milk and gradually add the flour in small portions, stirring constantly. When the dough begins to slightly hold its shape, proceed to the next step.
- 2
Step 2

Knead the dough, let it rest for about five minutes, then knead again (for about 10 minutes). Let the dough rest for about 15 minutes.

Step 3

Now divide the dough into small balls (30-40 g each) and let them rise. It's important that the room is warm and free of drafts, otherwise the dough may not rise. To prevent the dough from sticking to your hands and to make shaping easier, lightly grease your hands with vegetable oil.

Step 4

As a result, the buns should increase in size, becoming more rounded and fluffy.
