Muffin dough with kefir
Description
Kefir makes excellent batter for pancakes, crepes, cakes, and muffins. You can use any kefir to make muffin batter—fat content doesn't really matter. I also recommend adding chocolate chips or jam to the muffins. By the way, adding cocoa powder will give the muffins a chocolate color. Serve them cooled or slightly warm.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Add vanilla sugar and regular sugar to the egg.
- 2
Step 2

Beat the egg with a mixer into a foam. Then add the kefir and beat lightly with the mixer once again.
- 3
Step 3

Then add the flour and baking powder and continue beating. While beating, gradually pour in the melted butter in a thin stream.
- 4
Step 4

The dough turns out similar to a fluffy cream.
- 5
Step 5

Then place the dough into molds (for example, paper ones), filling them up to two-thirds. If the molds are metal or silicone, grease them beforehand with butter. You can optionally add chocolate or jam on top.
- 6
Step 6

Bake in a preheated oven at 160 degrees with convection for about 25 minutes, until done.
- 7
Step 7

Before serving, you can dust the ready baked muffins made from kefir dough with powdered sugar and decorate with berries.
