Dough for flatbreads
Description
Homemade baked goods for tea. Bake the flatbread dough in the oven for 4-5 minutes. You can first bake the flatbread, then take it out of the oven and add any ingredients. If you're adding ingredients to raw flatbread, brush the edges with olive oil first. This flatbread can be used to make many different tasty treats—sweet, plain, or savory. You can also use it simply as bread or wrap meat and roasted vegetables in it. The flatbread dough is easy to prepare and can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a week. Serve cooled or slightly warm.

3. Sprinkle the work surface with flour. Place the dough on it and knead. Add more flour if necessary. The dough should be not too firm and elastic.

Step 4

4. Place the finished dough into a bowl. Pour olive oil over the dough ball from all sides, cover with a kitchen towel, and let it rest for half an hour to an hour. Regular yeast will make the dough rise within an hour. Place the dough in a warm spot without drafts.

Step 5

5. The flatbread dough can be stored in the refrigerator. The amount specified in the recipe yields two large flatbreads. Divide the dough into two parts and roll them out. Place each onto parchment paper, roll them up into a log, and put into the refrigerator. If you're going to bake them right away, place them onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, let them rest there for 15–20 minutes, then bake.
