Description

Homemade pastries for tea. It's hard to find a person who doesn't love chebureki, as they've become one of the favorite dishes for many people nowadays. You're walking down the street, and their aroma beckons you from every direction, from various cafes, but believe me, no store-bought cheburek will ever compare in taste to the one you make yourself at home. Well then, let's get started, as we have a recipe for cheburek dough made with kefir—this dough turns out very soft and elastic, making the chebureki light, fluffy, and juicy. I've tried quite a few different methods, but this simple kefir-based cheburek dough recipe remains my absolute favorite, as it's very easy to prepare and results in absolutely delicious chebureki. The baking is done. Serve at the table.

Instructions

    Step 1

    Step 1

Pour kefir into a deep bowl, add the egg and salt.

    Step 2

Beat all the ingredients using a fork or whisk.

    Step 3

    Step 3

Sift the flour into another bowl and gradually start incorporating it into the kefir-egg mixture.

  4. 4

    Step 4

    Step 4

When it becomes difficult to mix with a fork, sprinkle the table with flour and place the dough onto it.

    Step 5

Add more flour and knead the dough thoroughly by hand. I indicated the approximate amount of flour in the ingredients, but generally you should add as much flour as the dough can absorb. The dough should turn out neither firm nor soft, but elastic and shouldn't stick to your hands. Be careful not to overdo it, because if the dough becomes too stiff, it will be impossible to work with.

Cover the finished dough with a towel and put it in the refrigerator for half an hour, or longer if desired. Then divide the dough into 10 parts, roll each part out and shape into chebureki. It's very simple—good luck with your cooking!
