Pancake batter with kefir
Description
Homemade treats for tea. Making kefir-based pancake batter at home is incredibly easy and won't take you more than 10 minutes. If desired, you can add flavorings such as vanilla, cinnamon, or citrus zest. 1. First, thoroughly beat the eggs in a deep bowl with sugar and a pinch of salt. 2. Sift the flour together with starch into a separate container. 3. Pour the kefir into the egg mixture and stir well. 4. Gradually add the flour mixture, stirring continuously. 5. If you pour vegetable oil directly into the batter, you can cook the pancakes on a dry skillet. This way, they'll turn out less greasy. 6. Finally, add baking soda to the batter and mix once more. 7. If lumps appear, don't worry. Just let the batter sit for half an hour, then beat it again thoroughly. The flour will incorporate evenly, resulting in a smooth batter. That's the whole secret. Serve the pancakes cooled or slightly warm.
