Belgian waffle dough
Description
The baking is simple and quick. These wonderful waffles gained widespread popularity after the 1958 Brussels World's Fair and appeared in our region shortly afterwards, becoming quite popular in a short time. The main secret of this treat's amazing taste, of course, lies in properly prepared batter, and today I want to show you how to make batter for Belgian waffles. There are actually two types of these waffles: Liège and Brussels. The first type is rather firm and round in shape, while the second type—those we are going to prepare—are incredibly light and tender, rectangular with a beautiful square pattern. They are usually served with fresh berries and ice cream. Interested? Then let's get started. With my recipe for Belgian waffle batter, you'll definitely do everything right. Serve cooled or slightly warm.
