
Jam-filled grated pie
Description
Homemade baked goods for tea. Even a beginner cook can prepare a grated pie with jam at home. You can use any fruit or berry jam as filling, but it's better to choose a thick one. This pie stays soft and delicious for several days. Serve with tea or coffee.

Prepare the ingredients. The butter and eggs should be at room temperature.

Place soft butter into a deep bowl, add sugar, and beat with a mixer until smooth and fluffy.

Beat in the chicken egg, continue whisking until the mixture becomes airy and slightly increases in volume.

Now add the baking powder and vanilla extract.

Weigh the required amount of premium wheat flour on kitchen scales. Add the flour gradually; the dough should not be too stiff.

Knead a soft and smooth dough. Cut off one-third of the dough, place it in a food bag, and put it in the freezer for now.

Roll out the remaining dough, place it in an 18-centimeter diameter pan, and spread it up the sides.

Next, place the jam onto the dough in the pan, preferably not too thick a layer.

Take the reserved piece of dough from the freezer, grate it on a coarse grater, and spread it evenly over the surface of the jam. Place the pan with the preparation into a preheated oven at 190 degrees Celsius and bake for 25–30 minutes using top and bottom heat. The pie is ready when the top turns golden brown.
