Cranberry grated pie
Description
Perfect for tea and coffee. Grated pies are very popular because the recipe is simple, the ingredients for the dough are easily accessible, and you can use any filling: berries, cottage cheese, jam, and so on. I'll tell you, the baked goods are ready. Serve at the table.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Sift the flour into a bowl and mix it with the baking powder. Add softened butter, regular and vanilla sugar, egg, and sour cream.
- 2
Step 2

And knead the dough. It should not stick to your hands and will be quite firm.
- 3
Step 3

Divide the dough into two parts. One should be larger — 2/3 of the total dough, and the other smaller. You can put the dough in the freezer for about 20 minutes. If you don't have time, you can skip chilling the dough.
- 4
Step 4

Line a 22 cm diameter pan with parchment paper and grate the majority of the dough on a coarse grater.
- 5
Step 5

Spread out the cranberries. You can use fresh ones, or frozen. If you don't like a sour filling, add fewer berries.
- 6
Step 6

And grate the remaining dough on a grater, spreading it so that all the berries are covered.
- 7
Step 7

And bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 35 minutes.
- 8
Step 8

Transfer the pie to a plate and dust with powdered sugar. It's best to cut the pie while it's still warm.
- 9
Step 9

The pastry is ready. Serve with tea.
