Veal in a bag in the oven
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Whenever I want to make a delicious dinner for my family and create a festive atmosphere at home, I immediately think of this recipe for veal cooked in a roasting bag in the oven. This dish has always reminded me of our family dinners, especially New Year's celebrations and Christmas. The meat turns out absolutely amazing—so tender, juicy, and aromatic that words can't describe it. That's why I suggest you try preparing veal in a roasting bag at home; only then will you truly appreciate the charm of this wonderful dish. Serve hot.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

First, we rinse the veal and pat it dry thoroughly with paper towels. Then, make deep cuts in the meat (not all the way through), and coat the veal on all sides with a mixture of mayonnaise and mustard, sprinkling it with salt.
- 2
Step 2

Place the prunes into the slits and generously sprinkle the meat with spices.

Step 3

Now take a cutting board and lay out the bacon slices on it. Place the veal on the bacon slices and wrap the veal in bacon.

Step 4

Next, we carefully transfer the meat into a roasting bag, making sure not to disturb the entire structure. Tie the ends of the bag, make a few small holes in it for steam to escape, and place the meat in the refrigerator for 1–1.5 hours to marinate.

Step 5

After the veal has marinated, place it in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for an hour.

Step 6

Garnish the finished meat with fresh herbs and serve — here you have both a festive atmosphere and a delicious dinner at the same time. Enjoy your meal, everyone!
