
Veal in the Microwave

Peel the garlic and cut into cloves, rinse the raisins and pat dry.

Make deep cuts in the meat with a knife and stuff it with raisins and garlic. Then rub with salt and pepper. Let it rest for 1 hour. Then fry the meat in vegetable oil until golden brown on all sides.

Line the bottom of a heat-resistant pot suitable for microwave use with a bay leaf.

Place the meat on bay leaves, pour in a couple of cups of boiling water, and cover with a lid. Cook at full power for 25 minutes. Then turn the meat over to the other side and cook for another 25 minutes. Check doneness with a knife: make a cut and make sure it has cooked through well enough.
